With her extensive knowledge and expertise in evidence-based medicine, board-certified podiatrist, and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons Karolina Varnay, DPM, FACFAS, is known for treating the most complex of foot and ankle conditions. As the owner of South Denver Podiatry, Dr. Varnay welcomes new and existing patients to this state-of-the-art Littleton, Colorado, practice.

After graduating from Arizona State University in Phoenix with her bachelor’s degree, Dr. Varnay attended the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine through Midwestern University in Glendale. She earned her doctor of podiatric medicine degree, then went on to complete her residency training through Highlands Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Denver.

Dr. Varnay believes in providing the most up-to-date and comprehensive care for her patients. She maintains her board certification through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) and continues to focus on ever-changing advancements in medicine. Dr. Varnay even went through additional training to become a Level 1 Certified Workers’ Compensation provider in the state of Colorado.

Patients of Dr. Varnay can expect to be involved in every step of their health care and be educated on knowing all possible treatment options. Dr. Varnay treats each patient individually, keeping the patient’s best interest in mind by offering innovative non-surgical therapies, as well as minimally invasive surgeries (if needed).

While she has special interests in biomechanics, sports injuries, and reconstructive foot surgery, Dr. Varnay also offers routine preventive care. She has tremendous experience in wound care and works at the Porter Wound Care Clinic caring for patients with serious diabetic ulcers and foot wounds.

Dr. Varnay has a passion for serving her community and caring for the underserved. She regularly contributes her time and expertise to the Littleton community.

When she’s not busy caring for patients, Dr. Varnay spends time with her three children adventuring in the great outdoors. She enjoys hiking, camping, mountain biking, cooking, cross-country skiing, paddle boarding, and rock climbing.
